About Woolworths

We have been so fortunate as an Organisation to have an incredible relationship with the Woolworths branches in our immediate area (Pretoria East). Over the years we have received food goods that have assisted us in feeding our many beneficiaries on a daily basis.

The Woolworths philosophy on “food waste” is as follows:

Woolworths donates all surplus food from stores which is within its use-by date to over 1500 charity partners on a weekly basis. In line with global efforts to reduce the growing problem of food waste, Woolworths is also investing in research to enable the reduction of food waste and loss through the supply chain and in customers’ homes.”

We are ever so thankful to Woolworths for their continued support over the years, you truly are making a difference in people’s lives!

About KWO

Kungwini Welfare Organisation started in 1983 when Paul Jungnickel Home was opened for adults with disabilities. Since then we have come a long way and now we offer medical care and residence to 140 disabled adults and 25 Senior adults in our Paul Jungnickel Home Senior that we opened in 2019.

We also offer social work services and projects to assist and uplift the whole community in our immediate area, including an Early Learning Centre that offers schooling for pre-school children of the community.
