One-Stop Family Christmas Shopping @nickelmarket 

The Nickel Market is an annual fundraising project and platform for entrepreneurs of 

Kungwini Welfare Organisation that we are very proud of. 

The first Nickel Christmas Market to showcase products made by our disabled residents 

was hosted in 2020 and has this event grown to be a date to be remember on your calander.  

We offer over 150 exhibitions with a wide variety of carefully selected products from 

decor to food.  The market is visited by over 20 000 customers in the span of 12 days every year.  

 

This years market will run from 27 November - 8 December.  

Open daily from 09:00 to 17:00.  

12 days to do your Christmas shopping and support the market that 

makes a difference in the lives of people with disability.  

The market is held on the premises of Kungwini Welfare Organisation and the 

residents dining halls, tv room, workshops and employees offices are utilised to host the market.

About KWO

Kungwini Welfare Organisation started in 1983 when Paul Jungnickel Home was opened for adults with disabilities. Since then we have come a long way and now we offer medical care and residence to 140 disabled adults and 25 Senior adults in our Paul Jungnickel Home Senior that we opened in 2019.

We also offer social work services and projects to assist and uplift the whole community in our immediate area, including an Early Learning Centre that offers schooling for pre-school children of the community.
